What is railroad? Hornby Railroad models are standard OO gauge trains, wagons and accessories made using older moulds and chassis - effectively they are equivalent to the Hornby range from approx 10 years ago. Finish is good, quality is high - the only real difference is that that the detail isn't as high as the modern "super detailed" ranges. These models are IDEAL for use with kid's train sets, and in fact some items (such as the Flying Scotsman) are the exact ones that are sold in the latest sets.
DCC: Railroad Locos are mainly NOT DCC ready, they are designed for standard Hornby train sets rather than the digital variety. The odd model that is DCC ready is noted in the description.
