All items are physically IN STOCK in our warehouse, except Special Order & Pre-Order items and currently many Spare Parts. Read our Stock Levels page and our Reviews.
UK Delivery - Orders over £30: FREE Economy Delivery (3 to 5 working days). Express? Just £4.95. Saturday? Just £7.95. Walk in store is closed to comply with Covid19 regs - locals please email for special delivery options before you buy.
IMPORTANT - TAMIYA SPARES: We will be closing the store shortly to deal with a very large consignment of Tamiya spares back ordered for our customers that are due in from the importers this week. We cannot now add to, alter or cancel any outstanding spares order until this process has been completed. Any NEW orders with any spare part on them (even one part on an order of 20 other items) will now be held totally until after this process has completed early next week. We are afraid this applies to all orders and all customers. There will still be an approx 1 month delay on almost ALL spare parts orders even after these orders have been packed as the range is in a constant oversell situation at the importers.
Despatch Delay: Due to a very busy Bank Holiday weekend we have a 2 working day backlog on all orders at present.

Radio Systems

Following a change of regulation in 2015, all Radio Control handsets and receivers now operate on the "crystal free" 2.4ghz wave band.

This has two significant advantages compared to the older 27 / 40 and 49Mhz wave bands sold in the past - no crystals and rarely any interference.

Each radio handset is locked (a process called "Binding") to it's own receiver. You can re-bind the handset to a new receiver, but it will never "accidentally" connect to one it hasn't been bound to. The result is that you can switch on as many radios as you like, and they will only control the model they're bound with. No more checking frequencies and no need to swap crystals around.

The other advantage is that, given 2.4Ghz operates on a much narrower physical radio wave, the handset aerials are only a few inches long, as are the receivers - eliminating the long and easily damaged telescopic aerials previously used.

Great stuff we have recently added...
