TIP: The MAVERICK STRADA range are our favourites with these models, each includes a battery and charger (some other HPI models require these to be added to the price) and the Strada range is unique in that it has many components made of unbreakable metal - including the easily broken upper suspension mounts front and rear - which reduces your running costs.  Maverick Strada Brushless are the best value Brushless cars on the market as they include both a brushless motor for high speed, a USB charger and a 3000mah Nimh battery - plus the cars can run on LIPO batteries later for even higher performance.

It all started in 1986: with a small investment and a lot of hard work, Tatsuro Watanabe began Hobby Products International in Southern California, the world’s biggest hotspot for RC (Radio Control) models and products. The initial product range included car accessories like graphite parts for existing race cars, wheels for off-road and on-road vehicles and motors. The Uno motors even won a World Championship title in 1987, proving that the company had what it takes to compete with the top companies in the world! They progressed to ready to run, culminating in the wide range today.

HPI cars are all high performance.  Brushless cars have even higher top speeds so are suitable only for adult use.  Brushed cars are still quick but ideal for ages 8+ if accompanied by an adult (14+ if using on their own, to meet regulations).
